What to do around Loch Lomond & The Trossachs this month

A simple seasonal guide for guests planning a stay around Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.

March is a lovely time to be here. The hills still hold a bit of winter drama, but the days start to stretch and everything feels quieter and calmer than peak season.

If the weather behaves, The Cobbler is an obvious headline day. If not, lochside walks, scenic drives and a cosy lunch out make for a very decent plan B.

Tarbet and Arrochar work especially well in shoulder season because you can enjoy the scenery without the busier summer feel.

It is a good month for a reset: fresh air, big views and no need to rush around.
